Astăzi și mâine, la Constanța, în organizarea Facultății de Educație Fizică și Sport (FEFS) din cadrul Universității "Ovidius", se desfășoară cea de-a XIV-a Conferință Științifică Interna-țională "Perspectives in physi-cal education and sport", în parteneriat cu International Association of Sport Kinetics, Societatea Științei, Excelen-ței Umane și Sportului Universitar.

Lucrările participanților sunt de un înalt nivel științific, astfel că profesori, antrenori, manageri, medici, psihologi sau kinetoterapeuți prezintă aspecte teoretice și metodo-logice, materializări practice ale experiențelor din domeniul sportiv și nu numai.

Participarea delegaților de la universități din România, structuri specifice din sport de la nivel național, reprezentanți ai universităților și ai altor structuri de coordonare din Egipt, Turcia, Italia, Iran, Irak, Polonia, Malaezia, Albania, Kuwait, Franța reprezintă nu numai o creștere cantitativă (peste 200 autori și coautori ai peste 100 articole de specialitate), dar și calitativă în ceea ce privește aspectele teoretice care dau valoare perspectivelor sportului românesc în context european și mondial.

Conform informațiilor furni-zate de prof. univ. dr. Mirela Damian, decanul FEFS, te-matica abordată în conferință cuprinde subiecte variate, în ceea ce privește curricula educației fizice din țările partici-pante, studii și cercetări aplicate în domeniul sportului de performanță, kinetoterapie și motricitate specială, metode de refacere, nutriție, management și marketing sportiv.

"Prezența conferinței noas-tre în bazele de date ale Co-legiului European de Știința Sportului, Baza de date Copernicus, Ebsco, Gale, DOAJ, indexarea revistei științifice a facultății "Ovidius University Annals, Series physical education and sport / Science, movement and health" în baze de date prestigioase din lume și indexarea în peste 20 de biblioteci internaționale dau valoare aserțiunilor din secțiunile conferinței", a declarat, pentru "Cuget Liber", prof. univ. dr. Mirela Damian.
