SOS InfoCons - aplicația care te salvează când călătorești

Este vorba despre aplicația SOS InfoCons, realizată de Asociația Națională pentru Protecția Consumatorilor și Promovarea Programelor și Strategiilor din România - A.N.P.C.P.P.S. România - InfoCons. Aceasta poate fi utilizată în România și oriunde în lume, pentru a intra în contact imediat cu autoritățile din țară unde se efectuează călătoria sau cu prietenii în cazul producerii unor evenimente grave.
"Copiii merg în tabere, bunicii în stațiuni balneoclimaterice pentru recuperare, sau, de ce nu, în excursii în străinătate. Este reconfortant să știi că sunt în siguranță și că, în cazul unor incidente sau chiar în cazul în care se rătăcesc într-un oraș, există întotdeauna la îndemână o aplicație care poate salva situația. Tocmai pentru siguranța consumatorilor din România și din întreaga lume, A.N.P.C.P.P.S. România a gândit și a lansat această aplicație", a declarat Sorin Mierlea, președintele A.N.P.C.P.P.S.
Creată pentru a fi utilizată pe oricare dintre cele trei mari platforme de operare, iOS, Android și Windows Phone, platforma a fost dezvoltată pentru a putea apela instant în caz de urgență serviciile de pompieri, poliție sau salvare din peste 200 de țări. În plus, se pot defini până la trei numere favorite și un mesaj SMS default. În caz de urgență, este necesară doar apăsarea unui singur buton pentru a trimite SMS cu mesajul presetat către cele trei numere definite, la care se adaugă coordonatele GPS pentru localizare.
Aplicația SOS InfoCons este un proiect al mișcării de protecția consumatorilor din România sub egida Federației asociațiilor de consumatori și poate fi descărcata gratuit din magazinele virtuale ale fiecărei platforme în parte.
